Follow these steps to register your credit or debit card and unlock additional cashback offers

Once you've completed onboarding and are logged into the Upside App:

Safely register a card by going to the Accounts tab of the app and tap the ‘Register your card’ link on the account you wish to add a card to
Follow the onscreen instructions in the app to add the card.
You can also remove any registered cards at any time.
If you now tap on the Partners tab, the card icon with the green tick symbol is clearly visible denoting that you have successfully registered your card.

Once your card is linked you'll be able to see the additional cashback offers that are available to you in the Partners Page of the App.

What should I do if my card expires?

If a card that you’ve registered has expired or has been replaced for any reason, simply remove that specific card and add the new one.
You will be eligible for card-linked offers with the new card as soon as that card has been registered.


I can’t register my card!

It’s worth double-checking that the card you’re attempting to register is eligible.
Cashback can be earned on UK-issued credit or debit cards bearing the Visa or MasterCard, symbol. No other types of cards are currently eligible.

What if I’ve registered the wrong card to my bank account?!

If you’ve registered the wrong card to an account, simply remove that specific card and add the correct one.
You will be eligible for card-linked offers with the correct card as soon as that card has been registered.

What happens if I use my debit and credit cards with other reward programmes?
Please Note: If your debit and credit cards are registered with other card-linked reward programmes, retailers may decline to pay cashback earned using those cards.
- If this is causing you any issues, we’d recommend removing your cards from any other reward programmes they’re registered with.
